Due to the current Global pandemic we ask that you read the following advice as Tiree opens up and starts to welcome visitors back to Tiree.

1. Please contact your travel provider before booking to make sure you can travel on your chosen dates.

2. Please be sure you have adequate travel insurance. You are liable for the full cost of your stay on booking and this is non-refundable in line with our regular Terms and Conditions below.

3. Please also be aware that if you show symptoms of Covid-19 whilst with us, you will be required to isolate for 14 days and you will also then be liable for the costs of any extended stay. That extended stay will extend 4 days beyond your departure to allow for cleaning .

Payment Policy

Payment in full is required at the time of booking. We do not accept provisional bookings.

We advise you to check ferry and plane timetables and availability to make sure that you can travel on your chosen days before confirming your booking 

Cancellation/No-Show Policy

In the event of cancellations or no-shows we do not offer any kind of refund. However, if more than one week’s notice is given, we may, at our discretion, offer an alternative date suitable to you, only if we have the availability to do so.

In the event of a cancellation by us, our liability shall be limited to the return in full of the monies paid to us by you.

In the event of one of your party exhibiting symptoms of Covid -19 whilst with us you will be required to isolate for 14 days and you will also then be liable for the costs of any extended stay. That extended stay will extend 4 days beyond your departure to allow for cleaning.

Travel Insurance

Travel to the island may be disrupted by adverse weather or other reasons. We cannot take responsibility for this. We strongly advise you to take out appropriate levels of travel insurance so that you have peace of mind that your costs will be covered, should you need to cancel your holiday or part of your holiday for any reason. 

Smoking

Smoking, which includes any form of e-cigarette, is not permitted in the Wigwam® cabins, or on the decking outside or within 3 meters of your own or your neighbours’ cabin. 

Dogs

We are sorry but no dogs (apart from guide dogs or assistance dogs) nor any other pets are permitted on site, even if you keep them in your car. Anyone violating this rule will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Arrival and Departure Procedures

Check in is normally between 3 - 4pm. If we can let you in earlier, we will let you know ahead of time. Check out is 10am prompt on the day of departure. 

Where guests are departing or arriving on a late flight or an evening ferry, please contact us on 07770 873667 or email info@soacabinstiree.com for check-in and check-out times.

If you wish to check in later than 4pm for any other reason, please also contact us as above. 

Disabled Access

There is a paved, wheelchair accessible path from the car park to the Wigwam® Cabins. However, please note that it is not possible to get a wheelchair into the en suite bathroom. Please contact us directly, as above, for more information and we will do our best to help you. 

Cleaning

Your Wigwam® Cabin will be cleaned thoroughly before you arrive and we expect you to leave it in the same neat and tidy condition in which you found it. All rubbish and recycling should be placed in the appropriate bin in the Refuse and Recycling Collection Area to the rear of the cabins. No food to be left in the fridge upon departure.

Keys

Lost keys will be charged at £20 per key.

Complaints Procedure

We take all comments from guests seriously and, in the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint, you can contact us by telephone or email as above and we will respond. We will try to resolve any issues as soon as possible.

Code of Conduct

We expect all our visitors to respect and look after the site and the Wigwam® Cabin you are staying in. We also require you to respect your neighbours and to keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm.

Parents are responsible for their children and must supervise them at all times.

Any guest found to be repeatedly breaking any of our site rules will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. 

Farm Safety

Please do not allow your children to wander off the Wigwam® area without an adult and please do not allow children to enter sheds and outbuildings or play on farm machinery, fences and gates. Care should be taken around livestock.
